Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in CVICU.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
Evaluate and improve nursing practices based on performance metrics.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Educate families on care procedures and post-discharge instructions.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Utilize technology and tools to track patient progress and outcomes.
Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Oklahoma with CVICU pediatric experience.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Strong communication skills for effective patient and family interactions.
Ability to monitor and assess patient conditions accurately.
Proven ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.
Ability to evaluate and refine nursing practices based on metrics.
Experience with electronic health record systems for documentation.
Willingness to engage in quality improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and train new nursing staff.
