Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a

Transportation Lead

to join our team. The

Transportation Lead

at Frazer reports to the

Distribution Supervisor

, and is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring daily transportation operations to ensure the efficient and timely movement of Frazer's non-emergency EMS vehicles, fleet trucks, and personnel.


What Does a Week in the Life of the Transportation Lead Look Like?




Supports the Distribution Supervisor in managing driving operations for EMS vehicles, medium-duty trucks, and other fleet vehicles to ensure safe and timely transportation, and assists with local vendor pickups and inter-facility material transfers as needed. Leads by example in maintaining a friendly, service-oriented demeanor and communicating effectively with customers while ensuring timely delivery. Ensures all company vehicles used for customer transport are maintained in optimal condition for safety, functionality, and cleanliness, overseeing any necessary cosmetic repairs or detailing. Assists with driver training, demonstrating basic vehicle features and how to operate EMS vehicles. Ensures adherence to safety, DOT regulations, and security procedures across the transportation team; reports unsafe conditions and ensures proper use of equipment and materials. Directly handles other related duties and responsibilities, ensuring team members are supported and tasks are completed as needed. Coordinates the delivery of new EMS vehicles to customers, which may involve cross-state deliveries; ensures drivers are equipped for long-distance travel and return; drives as needed. Coordinates with the sales team to schedule transportation of customers and EMS units. Assists with coordinating pickup and transportation of customers from the airport to and from the facility, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. Assists with requesting quotes from approved transportation companies for pickups and deliveries, managing transportation costs effectively. Oversees special projects as assigned by the Distribution Supervisor, providing guidance and ensuring successful completion.

Required Education and Experience




High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of transportation experience Ability to meet DOT Certification requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures and vehicle inspection protocols Familiarity with Motor Vehicle Regulations

Preferred Education and Experience




CDL preferred but not required Delivery driver experience

Work Schedule



This role typically works

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

, with possible adjustments depending on business needs. Occasional

evening or weekend
