Come join our Gainwell Financial Services team in Vermont! The team performs a wide variety of financial and third-party liability functions for Vermont-run health insurance programs. You\'ll start by learning all about how we enable Vermont to save money through the coordination of benefits activities with other insurers. Review and identification of Casualty and Trauma cases are also performed, and recovery efforts are coordinated with an outside entity. The work is varied and challenging and requires someone who wants to use their talents to help us recover funds and to perform billing, reconciliation, and reporting of those activities. Your role in our mission

• Review, research, and update health insurance coverage, including billing of medical claims to health insurance companies when new coverage is discovered and later working on the denials and payments that are returned.
• Casualty / Trauma Review
• Premium Payments to Other Carriers and Reconciliation of any premium discrepancies

What we\'re looking for

• 1-2 years exrience in medical claims billing preferred
• Superior communications skills both written and verbal
• Problem-Solving Skills
• Attention to Detail

What you should expect in this role

• Hybrid (In-Office presence required a couple of days per week at Williston, VT location.

The pay range for this position is $41,000.00 - $58,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
