Responsibilities:
- Plan a classroom curriculum that meets From the Heart Standards
- Encourage the development of students\xe2\x80\x99 critical thinking skills
- Prepare any necessary learning materials
- Assist with creating play
- Assisting students with learning their lines and blocking
- Document students\xe2\x80\x99 learning progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
- Assist with students to create creative theater pieces
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher but not required
- Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
