Job Summary: The Telecommunications Manager oversees teams at a client level and provides assistance to the Operations Manager. The Telecom Manager is the primary point of contact for their assigned client(s). He or she is responsible for being aware of new regulations, guidelines, or processes specific to client and utility pole owner. The manager ensures their staff are aware and educated of any updates to the process and strive to deliver quality applications EN is known for. Additionally, the manager delegates work, provides status updates, produces reports for internal and external use, as well providing support and assistance to others as needed. The ideal candidate will also have a client focus approach and will work well independently and as part of the project team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delegates work based on available resources, project scope of work and responsiveness required by client
• Inspects and audits the work of others; ensuring all requirements and standards are met
• Prioritizes projects and may assign to field leads
• Tracks project development according to company and client procedures
• Review proposed design considerations for feasibility as well as future development and serviceability
• Produce routine and project specific correspondence in a neat, timely, and legible manner
• Considers all contributing factors (clearances, space, loads, configurations, requirements etc.)
• Interacts with clients, utility companies, and municipalities
• Interprets and understands field notes, schematics, maps, and drawings from field personnel and drafters
• Readily apply applicable NESC guidelines, is aware of updates and educates staff of them
• Manage a team of Telecommunications Planners I, II & III.
• Review and approve timesheets

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred but not required.
• 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working for a utility, construction, or electrical engineering or telecommunications company producing MRE work, 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience preferred.
