Your next career:

As a Technical Writing Manager at fabric, you are responsible for all external product documentation. You are passionate about enabling fabric users, developers, and partners to fully utilize fabric SaaS applications and APIs through self-service. You will lead a team in clearly articulating our product capabilities across the spectrum of commerce, including analytics, search, identity, transactions, payments, subscriptions, memberships, integrations, product and order management and more.


Your responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of staff and contract writers to deliver comprehensive, useful, and high-quality documentation and multimedia including application user guides, API reference docs, developer guides and training videos on fabric Knowledge Base and fabric Developer Portal.
  • Partner with customer and partner-facing teams to deeply understand readers\xe2\x80\x99 needs
  • Define content strategy and ensure consistent brand voice across documentation properties, in alignment with the overall brand
  • Deliver high-quality content from concept to production
  • Partner closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure documentation planning supports product evolution
  • Create and maintain a content publishing calendar, including resource allocation
  • Monitor content performance using analytic tools



What you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years line management experience of a documentation team
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, and the Open API 3.0 specification
  • Familiarity with YAML, Git and related Devops processes
  • Knowledge of online documentation publishing tools and platforms including ReadMe
  • Experience managing day-to-day content production and publishing
  • Experience working with and influencing product managers, engineers, and UX designers
  • Experience with e-commerce applications preferred



Additional Information:

This role will receive a competitive salary, along with a variable compensation, equity and benefits. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone\'s compensation - including a candidates professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.


The base salary for this role will be between USD 109k to USD 145k.
