JOB TITLE: Technical Project Manager

EMPLOYER: ZEVX INC.

DEPARTMENT: Engineering Operations

REPORTS TO: Director, Engineering Ops

SALARY: 105,000 - $125,000 annual

EFFECTIVE DATE: 7/24/2023

SUMMARY: A detail-oriented technical project manager to oversee critical ZEVX project/development operations from inception to execution. The technical project manager is responsible for initiating/planning projects, maintaining engineering budgets, monitoring & controlling project execution, enforcing project deadlines, prosecuting/managing risk register, consulting with customer success management, and driving execution through detail task reviews.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages Project Kick Off events, task board creation, team resource definition, procurement tracker management, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Works cross-functionally with engineering work pillars, defining specific deliverables to baseline customer milestones (in communication with customer success management (CSM) team).
  • Creates, maintains, and monitors the project schedule; works with team to conduct daily updates, to identify issues, and to work with development team on implementing revised risk reduction work paths.
  • Manages risk register through project/development cycle, updates risk board, working cross functionally with CSM team for customer communication.
  • Works cross functionally with product management for solidified and evolving requirements, manages testing feedback and result sharing with product management.
  • Coordinates with manufacturing on production planning efforts through development cycles for products used cross-product line.
  • Coordinates with technical souring on logistics updates.
  • Reports digital system data capture status (PLM, Netsuite, Teams Tracker)
  • Follows and contributes to improvement of the product data development process, providing evidence through engineering documentation.
  • Provides timely hardware, firmware engineering support and problem resolution reports.
  • Interfaces with users to define technical system requirements on behalf of engineering to have answered by product management requiring necessary modifications.
  • Produces timely test status reports and projections from modified schedule requirement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Closes project to ensure all documentation is complete, all results compiled, and all data contained in digital systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, two to four years related
experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
