Ultium Cells Overview: Ultium Cells, LLC. is a joint venture Lithium-ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solution, Ltd., and General Motors. This high-technology plant is a new construction that will have the latest in battery cell manufacturing technology. This $2.3 billion investment will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors\xe2\x80\x99 North American electric vehicle applications. Ultium Cells\xe2\x80\x99 partners include LG Energy Solution, Ltd.; the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells, and General Motors; a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around. Position Description: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be instrumental in attracting talent and hiring talent for Ultium Cells. This person will support the operations and production teams out of our Ohio location. This position aligns the company culture with recruitment messaging to new candidates. The individual within this role will actively recruit for salary and hourly positions. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers, craft detailed and compelling job descriptions, determine effective screening questions, and market open job opportunities
• Source, screen and recruit skilled talent by utilizing the ATS, job boards, postings, referrals, and attending events
• Provide proposals and recommendations to upgrade, change and/or eliminate recruiting systems based on responses and market conditions
• Responsible for full-life cycle recruiting for both salary and hourly positions
• Source and interview job applicants, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant\'s qualifications for exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, initiates change as necessary to ensure compliance with law, corporate policies and business objectives
• Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources
• Will be required to complete other hiring and marketing related projects

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience may substitute for degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have with social media and recruiting tools
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
