The opportunity:

The Campus Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Consultant is focused on developing the talent pipeline for the early career roles and competencies most critical to the achievement of Sun Life\xe2\x80\x99s growth strategy.

In this role, you will have a crucial role in the execution of the Sun Life US campus recruiting and early career strategy. A successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for various areas of Sun Life\xe2\x80\x99s business, support key partnerships with academic institutions, internal business partners and hiring managers and support early career sourcing of recent graduates and university alumni for various roles within Sun Life US. You will be an advocate for Sun Life\xe2\x80\x99s commitment to building a diverse pipeline of talent for our college early career positions and student intern programs while developing Sun Life\xe2\x80\x99s brand as an employer of choice for student and alumni talent. This role is remote and requires 20% travel to universities and various campus related events as necessary

How you will contribute:

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle for assigned positions and programs across Sun Life\xe2\x80\x99s US business; including initial phone screens, interview scheduling, debrief meetings, offer and pre-onboarding process.
  • Act as campus ambassador and primary point of contact for career services offices, student and diversity organizations, faculty, candidates, and other appropriate groups at target universities.
  • Plan, organize and execute all in person and virtual recruiting events at target schools including presentations, career fairs, and interviews.
  • Lead, craft and execute the Summer Intern Program and Co-op program events for the integration of Interns/Co-ops amongst leadership and peers, including networking events, leadership & development opportunities, and company culture engagement.
  • Communicate an attractive employee value proposition (EVP) to all prospective candidates to include robust information on Sun Life, individual business information, the specific position, career paths at Sun Life, benefits, etc.
  • Serve as a consultant for the key stakeholders to advise on internship and program hiring needs and opportunities, educate on the recruiting process and provide training and guidance on policies and processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in campus recruitment to continuously improve strategies.
What you will bring with you:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in campus recruitment or campus program coordination and programming required.
  • Strong understanding of campus recruiting lifecycle, busy seasons and university timelines.
  • Passion for early career programs, supporting students during the career search and providing an excellent candidate experience.
  • Creativity in campus recruitment efforts, sourcing and branding activities; ability to think outside the box to attract the next generation of student talent.
  • Experience with Workday, SharePoint, Handshake, Symplicity is plus.
  • Flexible and a self-starter; able to successfully manage multiple priorities and processes independently while remaining detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated strong project management and facilitation abilities ensuring all projects are completed thoroughly within the required timeframe.
  • Team contributor, focused on sharing ideas, knowledge and best practices.
  • Ability to work with complexity and ambiguity as we work in a fast-paced environment of growth and change.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communicator; able to articulate the Sun Life value proposition clearly and passionately and listen exceptionally well.

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:
  • Southern region: $64,800 \xe2\x80\x93 97,200 annually
  • Central region: $68,300 \xe2\x80\x93 102,500 annually
  • Northern region: $73,000 \xe2\x80\x93 109,600 annually
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $61,800 \xe2\x80\x93 92,800 annually

If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $73,000 \xe2\x80\x93 109,600 annually.

If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $68,300 \xe2\x80\x93 102,500 annually.
