Job Description


The Tableau Developer Lead Analyst will be responsible for the creation of world-class, client facing interactive data visualization solutions. Working directly with the graphic design, UI/UX, and data preparation teams the Lead Analyst will deconstruct the vision for each solution and translate those individual components into a fluid visual analysis. As a technical expert in Tableau functionality, the Lead Analyst will be required to provide the Data Preparation team with clear and concise requirements on the final data structures to optimally develop the final product per the approved mockup design. The Lead Analyst will also determine the optimal means by which Tableau data is realized for display; either in the data source or as a calculated field. While the graphic design team is responsible for production branding and dashboard component presentation, the Lead Analyst will be required to align their development process to ensure smooth transition between teams to achieve unmatched speed to market results. Requirements for the Lead Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrable expertise in developing complex Tableau sheets/dashboards
  • Clear understanding of recognized visualization best practices
  • Ability to work seamlessly in a distributed work environment
  • Understanding of the up/down stream implications of design decisions
  • Drive to create solutions to display novel visual content
The Lead Analyst will report to the Data Measurement & Reporting Sr. Manager on the Visual Analytics + Preparation (VA+P) team and work in equal partnership with other members of the team in graphic design, UI/UX and data preparation.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 72,100 - 120,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
