The South Dakota Board of Regents System Payroll Center is looking for an energetic, detail oriented, life-long learner who enjoys working with a diverse customer base. The successful applicant will specialize in payroll deductions, ACA eligibility and web timekeeping for the Board of Regents system. This position will also assist with the systemwide monthly payroll processing including payroll audits, working with outside benefit vendors and serve as one of the system experts in Payroll. The System Payroll Center, located on the SDSU campus, processes payroll and supports Board of Regents Institutions. The department is committed to delivering responsive and professional service to the employees we serve.

Job Responsibilities: To assist the System Payroll Center in the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to, processing edit reports, verification of certain adjustments, reconciliation, and correction of payments to 3rd party vendors, ACA determination and corresponding leave reporting logs, web timekeeping trouble shooting, duplicate system IDs, and provide backup for system ACH transactions and reconciliation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to analyze, interpret and apply guidance related to payroll best practices, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to problem solve. Relevant experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Tax or Employee Benefits preferred.
