Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. If you have a passion for Japanese cuisine and possess excellent culinary skills, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards - Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation - Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station and equipment - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant - Assist with inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients - Provide excellent customer service by answering customer questions and fulfilling special requests Skills: - Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine - Proficient in food handling, food safety, and culinary skills - Ability to use various kitchen tools, including knives, in a safe and efficient manner - Attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing presentations - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of sushi orders - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team If you are a talented Sushi Chef looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills, we invite you to apply.
