We are looking for a sushi chef to join our team. We need a sushi chef who is having experience of making rolls, sushi/sashimi is not a request. Please check more details as below if you are interested:
Duties include:
Prepare sushi rolls, and various meats, seafood, and vegetables
Take full responsibility for the quality and presentation of all dishes served
Follow standard portion sizes, recipes, and food safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment
Handle and store ingredients properly with good knife skills
Assist with food prep and restocking during non-peak hours
Close the sushi bar properly and follow the daily closing checklist
Qualifications:
Must have solid knife skills and be able to make rolls, sushi/sashimi is not requested
Able to stand for long periods (up to 8-9 hours)
Able to handle heavy duties
Responsible, detail-oriented, and a good team player
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
