We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, using fresh ingredients. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items that align with seasonal offerings and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to food safety and handling regulations. Utilize proper knife skills for precise cutting techniques essential for sushi preparation. Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for ordering supplies. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, sharing knowledge about sushi offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to sushi preparation, including knife skills and food handling practices. Familiarity with fine dining standards and an understanding of menu planning is preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
