Duties

Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Execute proper knife techniques for slicing fish, vegetables, and other ingredients to achieve the perfect presentation.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff or dietary aides on sushi preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Participate in catering events or special menu offerings that showcase sushi artistry and culinary innovation.
Follow all restaurant policies regarding food service standards, portion control, and presentation.
Contribute ideas for menu development that enhance the dining experience while respecting traditional Japanese culinary practices.
Skills
Extensive culinary experience with a focus on sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine.
