Summary

The Data and Process Analyst helps drive Trane Technologies critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports and KPI/MDI dashboards that support department/enterprise process and goals. The Data and Process Analyst supports the Associate Mgr, Supplier Sustainability& Diversity and Sr. Leader, Supplier Sustainability & Diversity to improve process efficiencies and maintain data integrity via improved workflows and process understanding. Monitors processes and identifies inefficiencies. The Supplier Sustainability & Diversity Analyst promotes user adoption within their team and has the flexibility to adapt to change and support continuous improvement. S/he proactively identifies opportunities and provides solutions for internal/external customers through the use of available technology and information sharing. Must have the flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods. S/he will develop an understanding of and skills necessary to support Supplier Sustainability and Diversity.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Leads and monitors, process projects and/or initiatives, ensuring successful execution and achievement.
  • Networks within and outside of the HVAC industry for trends/best practices and incorporates findings into actionable plans.
  • Responsible for process improvement idea creation, management, planning, implementation, and KPI tracking.
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities for process improvements, develops root cause analyses, corrective actions, and other critical customer focused requirements necessary to ensure a constantly improving customer experience.
  • Tracks and reports progress on the implementation of corrective actions and cost reduction solutions,
  • Provides feedback to the Associate Manager, Supplier Sustainability Manager and the Sr. Leader, Supplier Sustainability & Diversity to meet process timelines and deliverables
  • Interfaces and works with other departments and areas- IT, Accounting, Sales, Procurement
What are the principal responsibilities of this job?
  • Help to track, request, run, and support data collection for all reporting for Supplier Sustainability & Diversity including but not limited to: Conflict Minerals, Human Trafficking, DJSI, CDP, ERM, and ESG Reporting
  • Manage the Supplier Sustainability & Diversity Calendars including gathering supporting representatives, and full registration process.
  • Manage Trane Technologies Supplier Sustainability & Diversity Booth and giveaways
  • Manage marketing, PR, and communications for Supplier Sustainability & Diversity- social media, Climate Zone, Newsletter
  • Assist and manage any Tier I & Tier II activities for internal (sales team/customers) external (suppliers)
  • Assist with any of the questionnaires and surveys for Supplier Sustainability & Diversity
  • Trane Technologies branding management for Supplier Diversity and Sustainability team
  • Support external supplier diversity outreach through project management and representation at events
  • Manage the Trane Technologies generic email accounts that support Supplier Sustainability & Diversity
  • Works across functional and SBU teams to identify process improvement opportunities and leverage various sources of information to enable decision-making process
  • Some travel required (less than 30%)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • BA/BS in Supply Chain Management/Business /Sustainability or related field required
  • Results Oriented- Act as a liaison for the SS/SD team to ensure data requirements met and data metrics support BO goals
  • Strong Collaborative Skills, Positive Attitude, High Energy
  • Comfort/familiarity with constructing presentations and organization communications
  • Proven experience in data management and design and leading change initiatives,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Identify and support analysis of current data requirements, and identify data integrity gaps
  • Ability to teach BI tools and concepts in a dynamic and engaging way,
  • Excellent persuasion skills to promote implementation and user adoption
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, while being an effective team player
  • Strong ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions
  • Strong project management, business acumen and analytical capabilities
  • 3+ years working cross-functionally and with suppliers
  • Preferred - 2+ years working within Sustainability & Diversity
