The Human Resources Manager will support Nespresso\'s vision and strategic direction by delivering high quality HR initiatives, support and advice. This role will be responsible for the people agenda within a specific business unit within our Corporate division, while also being regarded by the client groups as the expert in the field of HR. This is a hybrid-based position that will work 1-2 days a week at Nespresso\'s office in New York City and the rest remotely from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to Corporate employees and managers in the handling of employee relations, as well as fielding questions or concerns, communication and the interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Conduct employee investigations as needed and ensure timely and responsible resolutions.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to find the best talents. This includes but is not limited to: defining the people strategy and staffing needs per department with the business leader, coordination of openings, development of job descriptions, intake forms, strategy and consensus call and interview candidates as requested.
  • Lead exit interviews and provide insights to managers and executive team for improving the organization.
  • Build and grow credibility and relationships and understanding of client groups.
  • Nurture a positive working environment; promote and model organizational values and behaviors.
  • Provide HR administration support as needed.
  • Support and coach leaders in the implementation of core people processes.
  • Work with leaders toenhance current and future functional and leadership capabilities.
  • Ensure performance and talent management drive the achievement of business goals through objective and devlopment plan setting, performance calibration, secession planning and talent development.
  • Manage effective organization transformation and change projects using best practice methodologies in partnership with the Sr HR Manager.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Psychology or in a related field required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as an HR Generalist or Sr HR Generalist required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of Federal and State employment laws, employee relations (investigation skills), HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker\'s compensation.
  • Must have worked within a matrix environment, while achieving results through effective influencing and collaborating
  • Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence and use data to influence with integrity within a collaborative work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with clients on solving business/operational issues that may arise.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly desired.
The approximate pay range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
