Job Description
The Packer Collegiate Institute is seeking an energetic, kind, student-centered Performing Arts Specialist to work in the Packer Summer Camp program from June 20-July 28, 2023. Essential Functions
- Plan and implement a fun, performing arts-based curriculum for 300 campers age 4-12;
- Present a mini-performance at the end of each week;
- Ensure the health and safety of each camper;
- Report details of incidents to the Camp Director;
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities;
- Report all student injuries, accidents, and illnesses as soon as possible;
- Participate in and maintain order during periodic fire safety drills;
- Provide additional support as needed.
- At least 18-years-old;
- Experience working with children;
- Availability to work all 6 weeks of the camp season.
- Monday to Friday
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
