Summary
Job Scope:
- Responsible for transporting guest luggage to and from guest rooms. Provides presentation of the hotel and performs the \xe2\x80\x98grand tour.\xe2\x80\x99 Other duties as required.
- Assists guests in lobby area.
- Escorts guests outside of the hotel upon check-out.
- Assists mail desk if needed to deliver guest mail and packages.
- Picks up room key and luggage in the lobby and escorts guests to their appropriate room, while highlighting the services along the way.
- Accommodates luggage inside the guest room and explains the hotel amenities to guests.
- Engages in group luggage traffic.
- Transfers luggage during room changes.
- Checks luggage in and out of luggage room.

Qualifications
Qualifications: Essential:
- 6 to 12 months experience as a Bell or Doorperson in a luxury, medium sized hotel.
- Clear use of spoken English.
- Fluency in English and another language and other experience or education that will provide the skills necessary for this position.
- Must be able to use tact and show enthusiasm in all work situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Must be capable of walking and standing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry in excess up to 75 lbs.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Fluent in English and another language.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
