Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Subcontract Administrator for the Training and Logistics Solutions product line supporting current programs as well as new business pursuits. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, conducting bidders\' conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating provisions, selecting subcontractors, writing awards and administering subcontracts. Responsibilities include cost/price analysis, negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and supplier management. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Work with program and other areas of the business for timely conclusion of subcontract matters and resolution of issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have at least 1+ years experience with procurement, buying or supply chain, or a degree in supply chain management.
  • The ability to cultivate and maintain strong business
relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and
management.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or other supply chain
environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multitask, and manage time effectively.
Desired skills

Desired skills :
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Management, Accounting or some Technical discipline.
  • Experience with multiple contracting types.
  • Prior experience in a related industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with negotiating skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to
participate/lead meetings (minimal travel)
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
  • Previous LM experience

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
