Lockheed Martin\'s GMLRS Global Supply Chain team is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented problem-solver to add to its subcontract administrator team. As a Subcontract Administrator, it will be your responsibility to facilitate the procurement cycle from beginning to end. GMLRS is a fast-paced program containing both production and development efforts with ample opportunities for growth and new experiences within the Tactical Missiles line of business. Our team operates in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and strives to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit together to deliver quality products on time to our customers. The selected candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, communicating customer concerns, expediting delivery schedules, and tracking engineering revisions and material needs.

Primary job responsibilities will be administrating and managing major subcontracts in various stages from proposal through execution and close out. Specific tasks include issuing Proprietary Information Agreements, generating RFP packages, analyzing and evaluating subcontractor proposals to include price analysis and coordinating cost analysis and commerciality determination, validating proposal compliancy, developing negotiation strategies, negotiating price and terms & conditions including prime contract flow downs, facilitate subcontractor invoicing, and monitor subcontractor performance against contract, SOW, and funding requirements. Candidate will be required to issue subcontracts and modifications and generate required documentation in accordance with established acquisition policies and procedures. Candidate will also be required to coordinate with Finance on baselining and sales forecasting activities and analyzing risks and opportunities to the financial plans.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
  • 3+ years of professional experience,
  • Previous professional experience leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitments
  • Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of standard acquisition policies and procedures
Desired skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 years of professional experience with a related Master\'s degree.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types
  • In depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines
  • Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
  • Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
  • Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative
  • Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
