Sanpete Steel is a structural steel fabrication company that is located in Moroni Utah. We have been in business for over 25 years. We are a company with a safety-first culture who strives to be number one in reputation with our customers and employees.

We are looking for Fitter's with or without experience in the structural steel industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Fitter is responsible reading blueprints and tack welding the required parts on beams, columns and frames in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to work at a fast pace, have reliable transportation, good housekeeping and safety practices Must be committed to work 40 hours a week AND BE WILLING TO LEARN. Maintain an attitude conducive to progress through positive change, continuous improvement, and an active contribution to the teamwork concepts Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Must possess a strong attention to detail Ability to work independently, follow directions
It's preferred but not required to have experience with overhead cranes,metal shop equipment,conventional measuring instruments and reading blueprints. If you are motivated and reliable we are willing to train.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
