About The Team

Data Product Quality Engineering QE (DPE QE) team is primarily responsible for E2E certification of platform, services and features related to SNAP, vSG, IMP (including Syndication) and Email programs. Our team strives to deliver on time whilst never compromising on quality by devising innovative automation framework/tools and adapting best practices for test case development, strategy, and methodologies.

Job Summary

Responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a team of engineers with primary focus on Quality Engineering (QE) for Data Product Engineering organization. Is part of a larger team that designs, creates, tests, implements, and sustains engineering of Company\xe2\x80\x99s platforms, applications, and services. Is not only responsible to get products assured, but also interacts with and influence various other teams (technical and business) and vendors to make sure products get delivered and verified/tested end-to-end. Ensures operational and QE plans are aligned with business objectives. Manages a group of professionals and participates in budgeting cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Manages team of 20+ professionals predominantly focused on the end-to-end QE and certification lifecycle of product development.
  • Develops, mentors and coaches team members, as well as maintains and builds out team as needed.
  • Manages department\'s performance, budget responsibilities, resource planning and goal setting.
  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with peer organizations and also vendors.
  • Demonstrates leadership and mentoring of others on the application of new technologies, system deployment/development methodologies and test frameworks.
  • Participates in architecture and design, technical requirements and service specifications. Presents and defends architecture, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.
  • Assists in developing requirements to be used by the vendor community to develop solutions to meet Company application and business needs.
  • Identifies trends, services and/or capabilities that may be beneficial to various product offerings.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience
  • Telecommunications and/or networking experience such as SDN/NFV knowledge
  • Experience in automating applications using Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Java, C# and Junit.
  • Experience performing API testing.
  • Experience in automating applications using Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Java, C# and Junit.
  • Experience in integrating and running automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience in ETL testing by creating views like SQL views, Table Pairs etc., and validating data sources.
  • Experience in building complex SQL, PL/SQL queries to validate data in the data warehouse.
  • Experience in REST APIs/ web services using SOAP UI, POSTMAN, etc.
  • Experience using Confluence Team Collaboration software a plus.

Bachelor\'s Degree
