Summary
The Senior Leader of Talent Development will lead the design, planning, and implementation of global learning programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company.

Essential Functions

  • Plan and execute on the Research and Development organization\'s overall L&D strategy for leaders as well as employees
  • Evangelize a culture of lifelong learning
  • Introduce new L&D programs on an ongoing basis to support changing strategic objectives
  • Anticipate (and eliminating) future skills gaps through incisive new L&D programming
  • Build relationships with third-party resources, vendors and partners to roll out innovative and experiential learning models
  • Create customized development plans
  • Offer hands-on coaching and guidance to leaders as a recognized L&D subject matter expert (SME)
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to implement effective deployment and redeployment strategies
  • Contribute to regularly scheduled performance management processes
  • Identify new tools to enhance human capital capabilities across the organization
  • Develop and execute budgets, short-term plans, and long-term plans, policies, procedures, and initiatives. Work with leadership team to maintain accountability to budgets, plans, and initiatives.
  • Work with all levels of the company and/or to achieve organizational goals and the vision and purpose of the Company.
  • Lead and/or coordinate major projects within Learning and Development.
  • Consult with leadership team on leadership development matters.
  • Keep informed of new developments, methods, and techniques in the profession.
  • Collaborates with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs.
  • Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of learning.
  • Approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs.
  • Administer annual team member performance reviews, goal setting, and participate in salary planning for direct reports.
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the company\'s quality management system and controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, organizational development, human resources management, or related field.
  • 8+ years experience in leadership and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • High level of patience and service. Ability to motivate team members.
  • Exceptional oral and written communications, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Business acumen to work with all levels of leadership.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and multitask. Creativity and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated innovative and creative thinking.
  • Strong ability to coach and motivate. Possess enthusiasm and positive attitude.
  • Limited travel as needed.
  • Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. Refer to Raven Vehicle Operations Policy CS-13 for guidelines.
