Description Overview of role: The Enterprise Content Strategist is part of the Enterprise Social Media and Content Strategy team. The Strategist is responsible for developing and executing robust content strategies that will drive awareness, engagement, and retention through search optimized content. The Strategist participates in quarterly marketing planning and delivers content plans for SEO/SEM driven content that can be rapidly published to accelerate high-intent traffic to citizensbank.com. The Strategist brings expertise in digital content strategy, search marketing (SEO/SEM), content production, and digital analytics to help partner teams drive action through distinctive and relevant content experiences with maximum efficiency. Success will be measured against KPI\xe2\x80\x99s that include top-of-funnel digital awareness metrics, mid-funnel engagement metrics and lower funnel conversion. To support this broad scope of responsibility and multiple business line partners, the Strategist works independently and in project coordination roles to ensure successful execution of content creation and publishing. Responsibilities

• Develops digital content strategy for search driven content
• Prepares creative and data-driven content recommendations with consideration for market trends, customer needs, editorial voice, desired business outcomes, cost and resource availability
• Partners with SEO/SEM teams to leverage on-page signals to drive organic traffic through keyword clusters
• Partners with SEO, Web Strategy and Content teams to develop a clear interlinking and call to action strategy for enterprise content articles
• Leads the team in annual content audits and ensures prioritization of SEO recommendations
• Executes monthly SEO driven content refreshes and collaborates with peers to ensure content is up to date and fully optimized
• Balances competing priorities and supports multiple business line relationships and content marketing strategies at the same time
• Partners with many internal and external delivery partners to execute proposed strategies on-time and within budget
• Works independently, managing relationships, meetings, project execution and deliverables
• Partners with Content Strategy, Web Strategy, SEO and Paid Media teams to ensure the successful execution of content plans
• Manages all budget commitment and billing functions related to content and social execution plans
• Delivers regular reporting back to the partners and Enterprise Social Media and Content Strategy team to assess outcomes and optimize future plans
• Delivers digital content expertise and marketing expertise to peer teams to help engage prospects and customers in digital channels after mass media exposure
• Supports project management and coordination roles as needed

Experience

• 5 - 7 years of digital content experience, marketing, or website content teams
• 3+ years search marketing, with emphasis on integrated SEO/SEM tactics
• Client/customer management through agency, platform or internal project management roles
• Search marketing, content measurement, and digital analytics platform experience
• Experience leveraging AI driven/scalable content a plus
• Vendor/agency management experience a plus
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and successfully manage multiple large projects at once

Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
