WHAT DOES A SR. ENTERPRISE MARKETING TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT DO?
The Enterprise Marketing Cloud Sr. Technology Consultant role has both internal and external areas of responsibility.
As a client-facing role within Intouch B2D, an enterprise marketing technology consultant works in conjunction with account teams, across Intouch Group affiliates, to forge relationships with enterprise-level centers of excellence and marketing information technology teams within our client organizations. The immersion with client organization affords a deep understanding of environment (cultural and technological), goals and opportunities such that strategic roadmaps and execution plans are tailor-made for the best-in-class adoption of marketing cloud technologies in support of marketing initiatives across the client\'s commercial brands at an enterprise level.
Ultimately, this role is instrumental in elevating Intouch B2D and all of Intouch Group to a position which offers greater influence on both current and future commercial brand and technology strategies involving the leveraging and implementation of marketing cloud technologies and services.
As an internally facing role within Intouch Group, this role works closely across affiliate account teams and subject matter experts to recommend and implement best practices and solutions which demonstrate Intouch\'s excellence in leading the effective usage of marketing cloud technologies to drive integrated multichannel marketing experiences. And, in effect, drive business growth through measurable KPIs.
In addition, the Enterprise Marketing Cloud Sr. Technology Consultant plays an important role in managing and maturing partner relationships with Marketing Cloud vendors. As such, they are highly involved in building out a formal practice under the following pillars:
Sales - Works to identify new licensing and services opportunities for both existing and new clients and registers potential opportunities with the vendor. Establishes and maintains relationships with vendor sales team and represents the agency at vendor sales conferences. Acts as a liaison between vendor sales team and the client during the procurement process. Architects solutions which leverage partner marketing cloud technologies to address client opportunities.
Marketing - Works with the Intouch B2D\'s marketing and sales coordinator to produce internal and external thought leadership specific to marketing technologies in the Pharmaceutical industry. This includes a regular cadence of whitepapers, points-of-view, video spotlights, case studies, speaking opportunities, articles and blog posts that are shared through vendor and agency PR channels and industry events.
Enablement - Secures training for the organization to educate internal teams on multichannel marketing cloud technologies, working towards certification in the vendor\'s offerings. This includes classroom formal training, online self-paced training, in-person technology immersion sessions, lunch-and-learn sessions and facilitating vendor-produced webinars. Obtains access to pre-release, beta, sandboxes and new product versions for the development of proof-of-concepts and product demonstrations for agency and clients.
Duties
Work with account services teams, across Intouch Group affiliates to identify potential opportunities where marketing cloud services and technologies impact our client\'s marketing strategy and/or product offering
Work with internal subject matter experts to understand current and future execution capabilities and identify process improvement opportunities in regard to marketing cloud technologies and services
Lead ideation sessions with clients to craft and architect best-in-class solutions leveraging marketing cloud technologies to further enterprise support of commercial brand strategies
Prepare responses (or portions of responses) to RFPs including technology capabilities, examples of past projects, initial estimates based upon high-level functional decomposition of proposed project, etc.
Prepare and/or present material related to technology recommendations to clients
Travel to meet with clients regarding these initiatives as necessary
Provide guidance to account teams and brand stakeholders, across Intouch Group affiliates, regarding technology solutions and general timelines
Prepare and present technology solution recommendations, alternatives and implementation strategies to enterprise stakeholders
Assist with deeper research into technology implementation and execution as necessary
Work with executional teams to provide oversight and proactive leadership of technology implementations and operations to ensure client success
Identify and drive forward opportunities to further the efficacy of the client\'s martech stack in ways that are genuinely impactful to the client\'s business and goals
Qualifications
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor\'s Degree in computer science or equivalent education plus professional experience required
Five to six years of marketing cloud technology experience and support required
Consulting experience is desired
Hands-on sales engineering and business development experience
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, marketing and/or advertising is preferred
Extensive knowledge of either Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, with an aptitude for broad knowledge of the other marketing cloud solutions within the market
