Farnsworth Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Healthcare. This position can be based in either our Colorado Springs or Denver, CO offices, but a remote position is also available. In this role, you will assume multi-project responsibilities for lighting, lighting controls, power distribution, branch circuiting, and systems engineering and design for a variety of facilities.

This role is one that can be entrepreneurial and grow into more responsibility via mentoring from more experienced engineers and is supported by a great team of engineers and drafters. This role reports to a senior engineering manager, who will also provide mentoring and training opportunities to help you grow.

Job Activities:

• Actively engage in and assume responsibility for code research and application
• Create preliminary schematics through final designs
• Perform calculations, equipment selection and layout
• Preparation of accurate lighting, power, and systems construction drawings and specifications
• Submittal review and construction administration
• Assist in maintaining project design budgets and schedules
• Responsible for coordination of other disciplines, clients, and contractors, including but not limited to maintaining client relationships
• Provide mentoring and training opportunities to less experienced employees
• Responsible for writing proposals and project set-up
• Project management of multi-disciplinary projects

Specific Requirements include:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
• 8+ years of professional experience in electrical design
• PE preferred but not required
• Design experience relative to medium/large commercial, healthcare and institutional facilities
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously

Salary Range: $84,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
