Job Description
job summary:
Permanent Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer needed in Nashua, NH for an instruments manufacturing company. This position will report to R&D and will develop leading-edge particle characterization instrumentation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working in Electrical Engineering plus a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Must have working experience with Integrated schematic capture and layout for PCBs for instruments and systems.
- Experience managing contract manufacturers for the production of PCBs
- Background in electro-optic devices - lasers, laser diodes, LEDs, waveguides, etc.
- Benchtop rework and debugging skills
- Altium experience (Or other design tools like RedHawk, Fusion 360, Solidworks PCB)
- Experience with multi-detectors for Light scattering -- SEC/GPC

salary: $120,000 - 150,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Lead the electro-optical systems design, testing, and creation of schematic layouts
- Design, prototype, and test digital and analog systems, components, and circuits
- Create designs for new particle characterization projects
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams
- Work with outside manufacturers to facilitate PCB production.
