Job Description
Management Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract to hire position. Located in Little Elm, this is 100% on site. As the Senior Accountant you will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Maintains the average cost of materials and inventory on hand to reconcile the calculated inventory value to the general ledger.
- Analyzes and reconciles GL Accounts.
- Reviews classification of transactions.
- Reconciles selected bank accounts.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
- Performs professional accounting duties such as maintaining and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial and accounting records.
- Performs month-end closing of fixed assets using computerized fixed asset system.
- Maintains computerized fixed asset records.
- Maintains the rebate program, compiling information, issuing rebate credits to customers, maintaining individual distributor\'s perpetual inventory spreadsheets, publishing reports for

Requirements
- Proven knowledge of Oracle
- Foundational knowledge in financial statement preparation
- Solid understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting
- Experience with Rebate
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
- 5+ years of overall general accounting experience
