Social Media Specialist

Duties:

- Help ASTOUNDZ expand and build upon its Social Media practice. We are one of Houston's top web-marketing firms and we want to expand our Social Media offering. You will be responsible for helping sell, promote and expand our client base as well as manage all of ASTOUNDZ Social Media.

For our clients, you will:

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text posts, images, videos, and infographics Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and photographers to create visually appealing content Proofread and edit social media posts for clarity, grammar, and spelling Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices
Experience:

Experience managing and building a Social Media practice Experience with Sprout Social for Social Media Management Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and strategies for driving online sales Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and photography tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to proofread content for accuracy Experience in digital marketing is a plus Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
