Overview:

Put your creativity to work in a fun and fast-paced seasonal environment. In this position you will be expected to monitor comments, messages, and more as one of our key public relations contributors. You will also manage and create new collaborative content on a variety of different platforms. Videography and photography experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Writing: social media content, news releases, advisories, blogs, internal articles, and key messages

Photograph and/or film park events and daily activities

Help manage numerous social media accounts associated with Michigan\xe2\x80\x99s Adventure, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok

Perform various other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.

Create dynamic new media content to enhance guest experiences

Qualifications:

Familiarity with smartphone editing apps is an asset.

Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and Twitter)

Outgoing, quick thinking and detail oriented

Strong oral and written communication skills

Enjoys working both as a team member and individually

Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Guest service oriented (enjoys working with co-workers, guests, partners, and media)

Proven ability to problem-solve and work with deadlines

Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced work environment

This position requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays during operating season
