TITLE: Part-Time Social Media and Marketing

DEPARTMENT: Administration

REPORTS TO: Marketing Director

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time

CLASSIFICATION LEVEL: Hourly, Non-exempt

Position Summary:

Crisis Services seeks a part-time Social Media and Marketing Assistant to maintain and populate the organization\xe2\x80\x99s social media and web-based communications. This position will work closely with the Development and Marketing Director to create, maintain and monitor the organization\xe2\x80\x99s digital assets as part of raising public awareness about our programs and services.

The Social Media and Marketing Assistant is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience. This position has the responsibility of building and engaging our community on a daily basis via online marketing that connects with Crisis Services\xe2\x80\x99 help-seekers, partners, and supporters.

Primary Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Create original and re-posted content for Crisis Services\xe2\x80\x99 social media platforms (5-7 posts per week, staged in Hootsuite for Director\xe2\x80\x99s approval each week)

\xc2\xb7 Engage in social media strategies that deliver results through organic and paid advertising

\xc2\xb7 Review analytics and prepare monthly report on key metrics for Director\xe2\x80\x99s review

\xc2\xb7 Help build and grow Crisis Services\xe2\x80\x99 brand awareness and maintain a positive our online reputation

\xc2\xb7 Monitor web reviews and solicit positive feedback via Google My Business and Yelp

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with program staff to build content that touches on all areas of organization services

\xc2\xb7 Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the development and management of social media marketing strategy

\xc2\xb7 Manage updates to Crisis Services\xe2\x80\x99 website content

\xc2\xb7 Compile and publish monthly e-Newsletter

Qualifications/Skills:

\xc2\xb7 Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills

\xc2\xb7 Superior communication and organization skills

\xc2\xb7 Resourceful and detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) and social media management tools (Hootsuite)

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency with website management (WordPress)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to create relevant, original, high-quality content (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva)

Education and Experience Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in in communications, marketing, graphic design, or equivalent experience

\xc2\xb7 2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with social media marketing, digital communications and content development
