Job Description

This posting is for a Research Assistant in the Center for Aging and Health. Under general supervision, this position will perform qualitative research activities to support a grant-funded project. The research assistant\'s study responsibilities will include performing the pre-operative and post- operative assessments, consenting subjects for enrollment, performing in-hospital assessments for delirium, data entry, and performing the in-home assessments. The research assistant will approach and consent participants in the hospital and perform cognitive assessments. This individual will also review EPIC daily for screening purposes.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Prefer current master\'s or doctoral students in public health, social or behavioral science, or a related field at UNC.
