We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Snow Shoveler to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role is essential during winter months, ensuring pathways, driveways, and entryways are clear of snow and ice to maintain safety and accessibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, familiarity with basic landscaping tools, and the ability to operate various equipment safely. Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is a plus. Responsibilities
Clear snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and entry points using shovels, snow blowers, or other hand tools
Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation
Operate small machinery such as snow plows or excavators when necessary
Assist with landscaping tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, or garden maintenance during off-season periods
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe operation
Follow safety protocols related to the use of power tools and machinery
Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete snow removal tasks in a timely manner
Report any hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly
Requirements
Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work is preferred
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators are advantageous
Ability to operate snow plowing equipment safely and effectively
Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, or tree care is a plus but not required
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in cold weather conditions for extended periods
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments
Strong attention to safety procedures and proper tool handling skills
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are preferred but not mandatory depending on location
This role is vital for maintaining safe outdoor spaces during winter months while providing valuable experience in outdoor maintenance and landscape care.
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 - 80.0 per week
