leads front-line guest service operations for the Ski & Ride School Podium, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors. This role oversees Podium Staff hiring, scheduling, and performance, while maintaining clear communication across departments. The Podium Supervisor provides exceptional customer service, ensures operational consistency at all mountain locations, and supports instructors and podium teams to deliver an outstanding resort experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with the Guest Relations and Sales Manager to hire, schedule, and oversee Podium Staff.
Supervise and evaluate Podium Staff performance, including completing end-of-season reviews.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly, respectful, and efficient manner.
Maintain excellent communication with guests, staff, and leadership.
Ensure operational excellence by consistently following Ski & Ride School policies and procedures at all mountain locations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all lessons, specialty programs, and related details.
Support Ski & Ride School Guest Services Staff, Supervisors, and Instructors as needed.
Share accurate information with guests about the Ski & Ride School, resort, mountain, and surrounding area.
Qualifications
Experience supporting brand image and promoting value through customer service.
Strong guest service, sales, and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities that contribute to team success.
Adaptable, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Comfortable engaging in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (snow, cold, wind, sun, etc.)
Available to work from November through April including weekends and holidays with flexible hours throughout the season.
