The

Ski & Ride Podium Greeter

provides exceptional guest service through friendly, knowledgeable assistance and clear communication. This role supports Ski & Ride School operations, ensures consistency with resort policies, and serves as a professional representative of the resort. This position is part-time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Committed to providing exceptional customer experiences to each Sun Valley Ski & Ride School guest Greet and assist guests in a friendly, helpful, and respectful manner Demonstrate excellent communication skills Display operational excellence by following Ski & Ride School policies and procedures efficiently and consistently at each mountain location Maintain accurate knowledge of all lessons, specialty programs and details Assist Ski & Ride School Staff and Supervisors as needed Provide information to guests about Ski & Ride School, the mountain, and the surrounding area Serve as a public relations representative for Sun Valley Resort

Qualifications:

Experience working with brand image and promoting value through customer experience Strong guest service, sales, and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and timeliness Interpersonal and communication skills that contribute to the goals of a team Be adaptable and willing to learn, grow and improve Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) Excellent verbal and written communications skills Comfortable engaging in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (snow, cold, wind, sun, etc.) Available to work from November through April including weekends and holidays with flexible hours throughout the season
