The family-friendly terrain at Saskadena Six Ski Area sets the tone for a classic winter ski day in the mountains, with gentle terrain perfectly suited for beginners. Saskadena Six welcomes both skiers and snowboarders to its downhill slopes and a terrain park. There are 2 lifts servicing 28 trails ? 30% rated as beginner terrain, 40% as intermediate and 30% as advanced ? with the longest run spanning a distance of 5,280 feet.Rentals, repairs, lessons and a cozy base lodge are all available on-site.

Job Summary:

The Ski & Ride School Instructors will be responsible for delivering ski or snowboard instruction to groups and individuals and perform other related functions at Saskadena Six as needed.

Job Specifications:

Expected Pay Range: starting $15.00 per hour plus commission program. + With the commission included hourly rates vary from $20 and higher.
+ The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.
+ Shift & Schedule Availability: Full time seasonal and part time seasonal positions available
- 8:00am - 4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday, must be available to work weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities:

Teach and demonstrate skiing/riding to classes of all abilities in a safe environment using a variety of teaching and ski/ride techniques. Demonstrate specific skiing/riding maneuvers, including loading and unloading lifts. Provide exceptional guest service while maintaining safety as a priority at all times. Work collaboratively with fellow staff and independently with groups or individual students. Work in a variety of support roles and be willing to perform duties occasionally in other departments, such as rentals or lifts, as needed. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 16 years of age. Must be willing to work weekends/Holidays. Intermediate skier/rider must enjoy working with children. Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended period of time Ability to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
