This role is equally challenging and rewarding. Within a high - volume environment, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to model and act as an Ambassador for the company while solving complex health care inquires. The Service Account Manager acts as a customer advocate to resolve escalated and complex issues.

This position is full - time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST.

We offer 2 - 4 weeks of paid on the job training. The hours during training will be discussed. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers and / or providers
  • Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Investigate claim and / or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers
  • Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Ability to create and modify documents, spreadsheets, and emails within Microsoft Office including, Microsoft Word (create and edit documents), Microsoft Excel (create and edit data in spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST from Monday - Friday
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the healthcare industry
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Previous healthcare claims experience
Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to multi - task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Nevada / New Jersey / New York / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $22.45 - $43.89.
