For over 60 years, quality builders have relied on Littfin Truss to provide them with all of their engineered wood product needs. Littfin Truss, located in Winsted and St Cloud, MN, is seeking to increase our Design Department with employees who are responsible for the accurate design of work plans and detail truss drawings based on architectural and engineering plans for fabrication of trusses and components. The successful candidates will collaborate with sales, design, and customers to create wall panels and roof & floor truss solutions. Our designers are using MiTek\xe2\x80\x99s Structure with Integrated Design and work on a variety of residential, multifamily, and light commercial projects. Essential Job Functions:

• Interact with sales and customers regarding the scope of the work to provide a quality component package within pricing parameters.
• Solve architectural and design discrepancies throughout the entire design process.
• Perform tasks required to support production and engineering development.
• Review drawings for technical accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Architectural construction technology and/or construction related degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• 5+ years\' experience in a construction or building materials-related industry preferred.
• 1-2 years\' experience with MiTek Software preferred, willing to cross train from another truss software
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in the use of drafting software.
• Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints.
• 3D Visualization skills.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbally in a professional and effective manner.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Effective time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.
