JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a highly responsible, professional position involving complex and comprehensive analysis and a broad range of performance management activities for Palm Tran\'s Executive section in the Performance Management Office (PMO). An employee in a position allocated to this class is responsible for independently collecting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating performance measure results to staff and management to measure the performance of internal business operations. The Senior Transit Performance Analyst, conducts root-cause analysis, identifies process gaps and opportunities to achieve best practice, draft recommendations for management including compelling data visualizations, and promotes achievement of performance results. Duties in this position include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business performance improvement initiatives. Work is reviewed by an administrative superior through conferences, reports and observation of results achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor\'s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business/Public Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Planning, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science; three (3) years\' experience in strategic planning, performance management, quantitative analysis, data visualization, change management, or total quality management; or any combination of related training and experience. Must maintain a valid Florida Driver\'s License. Interested parties must submit an electronic application package prior to the closing date.

Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday; evenings & weekends (as needed)
