Zurich North America is currently looking for a Senior Financial Performance Analyst to work out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. While this position will be based out of our Schaumburg Headquarters, we are offering the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely. You will collaborate with your manager to set a schedule that supports you, your customers, and the team.

The Senior Financial Performance Analyst will be part of a dynamic, innovative, fast-paced Financial Reporting team acting as a liaison with other areas of Finance and the business units providing detailed financial analysis to support achievement of targets and support decision making, This team is responsible for the accurate, complete, and timely preparation of a variety of reporting deliverables focused on actionable insights impacting both operational and financial aspects of the business.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Delivering robust, timely information relating to all aspects of financial performance in order to enhance business decision making
• Completion of monthly/quarterly close tasks, including standard and ad hoc reporting as well as oversight of several general ledger activities
• Expanding reporting and analysis capabilities of the team through cross collaboration with business unit teams and other functions within Finance
• Develop a good working knowledge of relevant systems and processes, act as a subject matter expert for any queries relating to financial aspects within end to end processes
• Focus on process efficiency across team to identify and support execution of efficiencies using automation tools including Alteryx and O365 Power tools.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

OR * High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

OR * Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance industry experience
• Project management experience
• CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP
• Strong Microsoft Office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skill
