Primary Responsibilities:

• Create, generate, and distribute monthly/quarterly/annual audit recovery and FWA (Fraud Waste and Abuse) reports
• Assist management with preparing for and/or actively lead presentations to client related to data analytics and forecasts performed
• Acts as lead SME and own client requests for reporting including producing standard and ad hoc reports and interacting with the client
• Supports auditors, analysts, and management with ad hoc and other reports and analyses
• Document and report on audit activities and results including those required to support audit recovery performance guarantees
• Creates and provides FWA Compliance reporting
• Generating various spike reports to monitor on a regular basis potential pharmacy that may require further desktop or onsite audits
• Create and maintain new job aides that pertain to reporting and referral process
• Update any required monthly metrics for client dashboard
• Collect and interpret data as requested to support wide ranging analytical requests (markets trends, competitive analysis, evaluate feasibility of new products and services)
• Aggregates and analyzes data to support business unit planning decisions
• Generally, work is both self-directed and prescribed as required to meet both performance guarantee targets and service level agreements
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve with minimum direction from supervisor
• Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting/Finance, Business, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in writing business and/or system requirements
• 3+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts
• 2+ years of experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• 2+ years of experience with MS Project, Access and Visio
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and reporting creation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health care industry experience
• Healthcare and pharmacy claims experience
• Team lead or project lead experience
• Power BI / Tableau experience
• Experience working with Waterfall and/or Agile methodology

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California/Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada/New Jersey/New York/Rhode Island/Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
