We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Sports & Entertainment Project Management team to manage development projects for our clients.

You will direct, manage, and execute senior level project management services utilizing a team of professionals to provide superior client service. As Senior Project Manager, you will be a key part of our management team, collaborate with the National Director of Sports & Entertainment, and other JLL Project Management market leadership and staff.

Essential Functions:
  • Program and project management.
  • Oversee and lead large, complex projects.
  • Work closely with client user groups in coordinating their specific requirements.
  • Demonstrate a focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technologies as required for assigned projects.
  • Develop scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.
  • Conduct and document meetings.
  • Prepare and update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financial controls.
  • Manage ground-up projects including programming, design, entitlements, bidding, permitting, and construction management.
  • Assemble and manage the required teams of consultants and contractors.
  • Manage the procurement process for each team firm
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Interface with consultants, architects, contractors, client staff, property owners and vendors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with consultants/contractors/vendors and evaluate their performance.
  • Provide appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
  • May perform business development activities including assisting with sourcing, pitching, and securing of new business and projects within local markets
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation, errors, and omissions, etc.).
  • Assist in the establishment and refinement of best practices of standards of excellence.
  • Assist in training and developing JLL team members in the skills and understanding of firm procedures, methodology, and practices expected for successful project implementation.
Minimum Required Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. An advanced degree is an advantage.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant and progressive work experience in project management with specific knowledge of stadium/arena design and construction.
  • Project experience types desired in descending order of priority:
  • Professional and collegiate stadiums (e.g. NFL, MLB, MLS, USL, NCAA D-1, International Soccer or Olympic sports venues 20,000 seat capacity or larger)
  • Professional and collegiate arenas (e.g. NBA, NHL, NCAA D-1)
  • Training Facilities/Performance Centers \xe2\x80\x93 Professional Sports and NCAA D-1)
  • Olympic sports venues
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.
  • Experience leading and running numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand all aspects of projects including budgeting, scheduling, and close-out.
  • Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client\xe2\x80\x99s representatives, and team members.
  • Ability to lead individuals across a national platform to deliver superior results in client service.
  • Ability to review and interpret plans and specifications from schematic designs through CDs.
  • A strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to sports and entertainment real estate.
  • Experience working with professional team owners and representatives, developers and institutional owners.
  • Ability to manage several medium and large ground-up development projects, major re-development projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional manner and computer literacy
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary for long-term projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Prior experience managing and leading others is an advantage.

Estimated compensation for this position is:

120,000.00 \xe2\x80\x93 170,000.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant\xe2\x80\x99s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
