We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced civil/municipal senior project manager to join our talented staff to manage projects, develop proposals and lead design efforts on private and municipal client projects in our growing St. Paul office. On any given day, you ll:

  • Work with both private and public clients for various site development and municipal projects
  • Design municipal and civil engineering projects including water supply and distribution, sanitary sewers, water main, storm water systems, streets, and other public and private development projects.
  • Manage projects and scope, develop proposals, and lead design efforts on private and municipal client projects.
  • Monitor project budgets to a successful outcome, oversee project teams and meet client expectations.
  • Gather and analyze data on projects and prepare reports, plans and specifications and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate and oversee construction activities on various types of projects.
  • Expand our client base and cross sell services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in civil engineering.
  • Minnesota Professional Engineer registration or ability to achieve within one year.
  • Progressive experience managing site development or municipal projects preferably in Minnesota, the ability to create and maintain working relationships with clients, design team partners, funding partners and permitting agencies.
  • Experience developing and maintaining clients and obtaining new and repeat work.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal rules and regulations related to civil improvement projects.
  • Valid driver s license and good driving record.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
  • Ability to conduct effective client presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with other team members in multiple offices.
  • AutoCAD experience beneficial.
