About the Role
An exciting and challenging position exists as a Senior Project Manager, Operations. You will be responsible for leading a variety of product innovation and business transformation projects which are critical to our year-over-year goals. Day to day, you will drive the successful planning, execution and evaluation of complex projects according to established time, budget and scope parameters and work with cross functional teams and business partners such as Marketing, R&I, Operations and Quality.

As an inspiring, pro-active leader, you will challenge the status quo and motivate the team to ensure projects are successfully executed and delivered on time and within budget. Your project expertise will promote continuous improvement as you bring thought leadership and best practices to the Wellmore team.

Location/Workplace

This is a hybrid position and candidates must be willing and able to work out of the Denver office 2-3 days/week.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

Plan the project

  • Build comprehensive project timelines in consideration of unique project requirements and complexities using the stage gate process
  • Be accountable for project timelines, financials, action plans and risks of the projects
  • Assess project resourcing requirements and assemble a team
  • Manage cross-functional teams ensuring project teams have the right skills and experience to meet the objectives in a complex environment (high number of projects interacting together)
  • Develop and implement a project communication plan appropriate for the project and business needs
Execute the project
  • Articulate the project vision and empower the team to deliver against the associated objectives
  • Drive the on-time execution of detailed project timelines and tasks
  • Be autonomous in managing decisions and be accountable for timely project delivery
  • Acquire, digest and redistribute relevant project information to stakeholders across the organization to promote seamless communication
  • Organize, report and communicate the communications of the project to executive management
  • Lead engaging and productive project meetings which are future focused, foster team discussion on risks/issues and spur action
  • Be proactive in identifying issues and/or risks and develop robust mitigation/contingency plans to minimize risk and escalate risks when required.
  • Enforce accurate document management and record keeping for projects
Evaluate the project
  • Execute the project close out process with the analysis of key wins, challenges and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure the implementation of operational changes based on the learnings gained from the evaluation
Requirements

What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business-related concentration
  • CPG industry experience
  • 5+ Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Project Manager working with a portfolio of projects with a focus on new product launches and Innovation
  • Deep understanding of business processes with the ability to challenge cross-functional operational teams
  • Solid understanding of Project Management framework and the development of project management documentation (e.g., project charter, communication plans, RACI chart, risk mitigation, and change management plans, and project closure report)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects with tight timelines
  • Critical, detail-oriented thinker - confident in challenging the status quo and able to think outside of the box to solve problems
  • Exemplary organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills both in-person and virtually
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with key stakeholders across remote multi-functional teams (Operations, R&I, Marketing, Quality), as well as with Senior Leadership
  • Ability to work and succeed in a highly complex, changing environment with many suppliers, productions sites, complex logistics, high number of parallel projects impacting the same projects

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is 112,000-124,000 USD/year. This position is also eligible for short- and long-term incentives. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
