JEO\xe2\x80\x99s Water Resources Engineering Department provides expertise and services in Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis, Urban Drainage Evaluation and Design, Watershed Planning and Implementation, Levee Evaluation and Design, Dam Evaluation and Design, Bank Stabilization Design, Floodplain Management, Water Quality Evaluation and Management, Hydrogeological Services, Hazard Mitigation and Emergency Planning, Environmental Sciences and Regulatory Coordination.

The Water Resources Senior Project Manager is supported by a department of professionals to take the lead on managing successful projects that meet or exceed client expectations while meeting JEO\xe2\x80\x99s financial goals. This individual will have the ability to support client management and business development endeavors focusing on Kansas water resources markets.

The Senior Project Manager has: * A strong background in the successful development, direction and completion of complex projects.

  • Successful experience as a project manager including direct management of a project team and responsibility for meeting client expectations.
  • Experience preparing project proposals, scopes of services and cost estimates for a diverse portfolio of project types.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, bids, contracts, funding requests and communication plans.
  • Ability to successfully develop and maintain strong relationships.
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering or related field \xe2\x80\xa2 Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Kansas

The following qualifications are preferred: Masters in civil or biological systems engineering, business or other relevant advanced degree \xe2\x80\xa2 8+ years of experience working on water resources related projects.
