job summary:
A Senior Plumbing Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the St. Louis, MO area or Remote work. The Senior Plumbing Designer oversees the complete plumbing design process, from concept to construction, including calculations, isometrics, and equipment selection. They also provide construction assistance and support team collaboration.

responsibilities:

• Proficient in 3D modeling using Revit, specializing in federal buildings.

• Creates families and maximizes platform\'s live functions for intelligent designs.

• Develops conceptual plumbing models from verbal direction or sketches.

• Incorporates standard notes and details into construction documents.

• Manages redlines from Mechanical Engineer and follows workflows.

• Takes ownership of plumbing scope, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality goals.

• Efficiently checks individual work and coordinates with related disciplines.

• Proactively advances workflows and tools within discipline, including design automation.

• Embraces emerging technologies.

• Understands QA/QC process and excels in a digital environment.

• Ensures quality and compliance with plumbing and project standards.

• Provides quality reviews of others\' models and documents.

• Supports maintenance of BIM/CAD standards and techniques.

• Collaborates with BIM/CAD Designers and Engineers.

• Delegates and mentors junior designers as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years extensive Revit experience in Plumbing field.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• strong interpersonal skills.

• United States Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Design, Drafting, or BIM technology.

• Experience with AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with Federal facilities and UFC\'s.

• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
