The Senior Manager, Business Development, LAC Commercial develops and implements the overall go-to-market strategy for Brother Business Machines Group (BMG) products in the Latin America & Caribbean territories including but not limited to Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, with an emphasis on securing sales revenue from end-user customers in several vertical markets such as: Public/Government, Offices, Healthcare, Education, Logistics, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Services, Financial, Foodservice among others. This goal is achieved while working and developing strong relationships with relevant channel partners, and internal Brother Sales & Marketing teams. The role also works extensively on Product, Training and Service strategies to drive LAC\'s success in the Commercial/SMB space. This position works collaboratively with other internal groups including but not limited to: District Sales Managers, Product Managers, Marketing team, Sales Operations, Finance, HR and Legal, in order to solidify strategy, increase sales, and fulfill administrative and reporting requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy
Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the vertical markets in the LAC region, ensuring continuous growth
Develop and execute sales plans with new and existing end-user accounts, driving specific deal opportunities through a consultative sales process
Develop new and existing channel partners to ensure the partners\' sales teams support the plan objectives and meet LAC\'s organizational goals
Develop and execute the Commercial/Vertical marketing plan for End users and Channel partners, to drive brand strength and revenue, including but not limited to: content development, sales and marketing materials, lead generation, promotions, social media, digital, trade shows. Responsible for marketing budget execution
Work collaboratively across the LAC, BMG and Brother support departments to reach or exceed revenue and profitability goals
Provide sales/technical support and education to channel partners, end users and others. Execute the annual Training calendar
Constantly monitor market conditions and competitive threats and adjust go-to-market strategies as necessary to ensure success
Product Management Collaboration
Work with the Product management teams in Brother US and Japan to:
Select and utilize hardware, software, and consumable(s) and develop customer-centric solutions, including Managed Print Services, VSP, and other Document Management program
Collaborate with and develop these solutions with BMG Product Managers, Field sales support engineers, to then drive them to the End User and Channel partners via a successful sales and closure process
Engage in information sharing and best practices development with Latin American Subsidiaries
Engage with the Service teams and organization to grow a best in class "At your side" post-sale value proposition to end users and Channel partners in LAC region
Coaching and Mentoring
Exemplify and coach team members on the Brother Culture, demonstrating Accountability, Boldness, Excellence and Authenticity
Identify and provide sales tools, both in technology and on business areas
Ensure company policies and divisional procedures are met
Reporting and Communication
Effectively communicate to management with timely and accurate reporting and updates.
Track sales results as compared to budget, organize the relevant information, and report out to team members
Qualification
Education
Bachelor\'s Degree (or equivalent experience) Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
Experience
Minimum 8 years
Experience in sales, business development, vertical marketing, product marketing/management and account management; Prior experience selling in technology or industrial products/services sectors.
Minimum 8 years
Sales experience within a Copier Manufacturer, Reseller, Distribution Partner, System Integrator or VARs
Minimum 8 years Experience with Solution Sales and
Preferred knowledge of Print Management, 3rd Party Solutions, Managed Print Service (MPS) environment and Document Management Solutions
Languages
Spanish Complete Fluency Required
Software/Technical Skills
Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) SAP and CRM Software
