What you\'ll be doing...

As the Senior Manager responsible for one of the Authorized Retail Channel Management teams, part of the VCG Verizon Value organization, you are responsible for creating and optimizing incremental strategic growth, providing leadership in the development of business opportunities that utilize strategic partnerships and your team members to maximize attainment of Authorized Retailer channel KPI\'s, and business metrics. You will accomplish this through developing and executing strategies to drive incremental revenue for all \xe2\x80\x9cGo to Channel\xe2\x80\x9d (GTC) programs and evaluating our program, product and service efficiencies, and continuously improving our offerings and solutions. Your role will require a high degree of collaboration across the internal teams of Chief Marketing Officer, Financial Planning & Analytics, Product Marketing, Sales Ops & Enablement, Channel Management, and external teams including 3rd party technology and service providers, Master Agents and vendors.

  • Partnering closely in the development of overall strategy for the channel.
  • Partnering directly with key stakeholders and counterparts in other marketing and product teams to manage the brand(s) overall performance scorecard, collaboratively driving results.
  • Analyzing current market needs, competitive and financial data to find opportunities to optimize pricing and reduce costs while delivering incremental business value.
  • Leading the relationships with vendors, building and implementing comprehensive strategies to drive strategic growth through the development and execution of incremental business opportunities.
  • Managing vendor contracts and other agreements, ensuring compliance and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Uncovering competitive or vendor risks, finding ways to reduce their impact.
  • Leading the design, deployment, and maintenance of a comprehensive commissions structure that rewards profitable growth for both Master Agents and Dealers.
  • Assessing inventory, forecasting consumer demand, and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Leading the design, development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of externally focused innovative learning solutions for sales and products that deliver incremental, strategic growth.

You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and you have the ability to balance competing demands and priorities. You have the business acumen and executive presence to establish credibility with leadership and you effectively balance the needs of all involved.

This role may be considered as part of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.

What we\'re looking for\xe2\x80\xa6

You\'ll need to have:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Management experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • MBA, Master\'s, or advanced degree.
  • Two or more years of Indirect channel experience.
  • Exceptional Powerpoint/Google Slide creation skills for executive presentations.
  • Excellent executive presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute effectively.
  • Managed complex projects with cross-functional teams and aligned groups to a common goal.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers.
  • Experience with Strategic initiatives with data driven outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with, understand, and manage analytics data and reporting tools.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $112,000.00 and $228,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
