We are seeking a highly strategic and innovative Senior Manager of Brand Strategy to lead our Verizon Value Business growth brands, including Total by Verizon, Visible, Verizon Prepaid, and Simple Mobile. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and driving brand strategies and identity initiatives. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our brands are evolving to meet consumer needs, our research is identifying optimizations for our brands to be successful, our creative is breaking through to our consumer targets and we are meeting and exceeding our business goals. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining brand differentiation, developing positioning for marketing communications, and extracting insights from data to fuel our brand\'s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Leading a team focused on data-informed brand strategies and messaging frameworks. Ensuring alignment with research and business objectives, partnering closely with integrated marketing and creative to drive successful campaigns.

Brand Differentiation: Crafting and maintaining brand differentiation strategy and guidelines, evolving brand messaging to align with the overall strategy.

Brand Positioning: Developing positioning for marketing communications and collaborating with market research analysis to extract insights from complex data. Positioning work to include brand naming, points of communication identification and reason to believe articulation.

Brand Identity: Defining and maintaining brand identity, ensuring brand compliance across all channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with the Commercial, Insights, Integrated Marketing team to develop marketing plans, messaging, GTM strategy, and promotional launch calendars.

Marketing Calendar: Driving the marketing calendar to achieve substantial growth, stimulate competitive switching behavior, and capture market share in both prepaid and postpaid markets.

Creative Consistency: Managing consumer messaging and creative consistency to maintain brand distinction and salience.

Storytelling: Holding the through line on messaging and crafting compelling narratives across the organization.

Consumer-Centric Approach: Leading the business in an insight-led and consumer-centric approach to create new member acquisition and retention initiatives.

Brand Compliance: Reviewing and approving all consumer-facing creative output across the organization to ensuring alignment with brand strategy, brand guidelines and strategic objectives.

This role may be considered as part of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.

In this hybrid role, you\'ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we\'re looking for...

You\'ll need to have:

Bachelor\'s degree or six or more years of experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business, or related field OR four or more years of relevant work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns.

Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze problems and solutions and identify key metrics for achieving business goals.

Excellent project management skills in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Exceptional team management and communication skills, both internally and externally, with strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform marketing strategy.

Experience with digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Experience in market research, developing marketing plans, managing budgets, and timelines.

Knowledge of the retail wireless industry is a plus.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $120,000.00 and $242,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
